The Aubonne black powder factory was founded in 1853. Today it is the only still existing and also producing black powder factory in Switzerland. This venerable factory has been part of our company since 2022. We feel connected to the tradition and the history of the Poudrerie and want to continue the production processes and, above all, the quality of the products, which is appreciated by all, but also expand them - so that the black powder factory on the shore of Lake Geneva can withstand the conditions of today.
Linear Cutter
The Linear Cutter – cut solids with precision.

The AES Linear Cutter or AES Linear Shaped Cutter is specially designed for cutting solid steel elements during blasting operations. It is used, for example, for demolition projects, explosive ordnance clearance or police operations.
The LSC Linear Cutter AES is characterized by its exceptionally high blasting energy with comparatively low use of explosives. This effect is achieved on the one hand by the exclusive use of the high-energy explosive RDX and on the other hand by the full coating of the v-shaped product with copper, which is particularly ideal as a coating to achieve the desired high cutting performance. The geometry of the cutting charge concentrates the explosion energy on one cutting line. The copper of the sheath forms a wedge-shaped plasma jet that cuts through the components. The cutting performance of the various Linear Cutter sizes ranges from 5 mm to 76 mm (for St37 steel).
